The newly inaugurated National Assembly
members are to receive N8.64 billion naira as Wardrobe Allowance next week.
This is the breakdown : N21.5 million
for each of the 109 senators and N17.5 million for each of the 360 members of
the House of Representatives.
This excludes other allowances entitled
to our dear legislators, like Housing, Furniture and Vehicle.
This Wardrobe Allowance will however
cover their entire four-year tenure in office.
