The Super Falcons of Nigeria were
amazing yesterday, as they came from behind twice to get a 3-3 draw with Sweden.
It was the Falcons first game at the
FIFA Womens World Cup in Canada.
The Swedish were two goals up before
the break, but the Falcons level the scores in the second half when Ngozi Okobi
and Asisat Oshoala scored for Nigeria.
Later in the second half of the
match at Winnipeg, Linda Sembrant scored for the Swedish but Francisca Ordega
equalized for the Falcons 3 minutes from time to level the scores at three all.
The Falcons next match in Group D is
against Australia.
Welldone gals…!
